This can be a standalone but makes more sense if you the read series.
I read roughly a 1000 books a year. Majority in the romance genre.
With all the tropes out there, this absolutely took me by surprise. Touched me deeply. I love when a book is so unique yet also powerful.
I give this 10 stars.
