Feels like sitting at a great dinner with a friend

Not only was the text captivating, but his pacing and passion came through every minute. I’ve been recommending it to everyone and now must turn my attention to his other books. Very much recommended.

felt a little like hanging out with tucci

everything here was exactly what was expected from a Stanley tucci observational diary about food. he clearly has a strong connection to food, I'd argue almost stronger than his connection to the theater.

it is pretty amusing to me how he nonchalantly name drops people in a non obnoxious manner. his friends list is definitely different than my friends list, but they seem to do the same things that I do.

descriptions of what he's been eating for all of 2023 are mouth watering, and his relish for all of it comes through on the reading.

if you're a fan of The Tuche, you really should have a listen.

An entertaining and delightful look into Stanley Tucci’s life. Candid and full of dry wit and, at times, the thoughtful and insightful pondering of life, death and the meaning of life.

It’s like having coffee in his kitchen

The book is written like a diary but his stories meander through his life over a year with interesting stories about his family life and friends, his musings about life in general and his stage in life with all his philosophical “aha! statements.” Stanley Tucci can read the constitution to me and I’d still listen to him.

A true storyteller

Stanley Tucci is a magnificent and mesmerizing storyteller, this book is a must! It’s relatable, sweet, touching, delicious and dreamy.

The Perfect Balm for Election Day Anxiety

Stanley Tucci's soothing narration and tales of cooking, family and travel have been the perfect antidote to the worries of the day. The chapters are very short, and this is an easy listen. It has been so relaxing listening to Tucci wax rhapsodic about favorite meals, shared with friends. I wish he would record some of his cookbooks as audio books also.

Stanley is a legend!

With a plethora of great books horrendously narrated by who wrote them (who makes these decisions?) Stanley’s performance makes this a book that must be listened to … and perhaps not read conventionally. I just finished listening, and I cannot wait to listen again in the very near future.
