growth for two

I liked Weston's chivalry in Penny's honor warning ger alter ego off Stewart. "Penny" has her owm secrets, but she's miffed that Weston has his secrets. Double standards girl.. Louise and Philip made me want to wretch! Weston was a real giver with growth and I like jiw he turned out. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

GOOD READ!

I enjoyed it! The narration was good and kept me entertained. The author did a good job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more of her books. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

No Shame Here!

There is no shame in this fantastic addition to the G-Man series! This new adult story features Peyton, a senior in college, writing her thesis. She works part time as a waitress and tutors. We also meet hockey star Weston Matthews. Confident, good looking, but needing help in his literature course and hires Penny Lane as his tutor. Little does he know that the waitress he flirts with is his tutor. This original story line kept my attention! Peyton/Penny is a fantastic character. Sassy, smart and focused, she has an unyielding confidence. Until she doesn't! Weston is really interesting, as he is fascinated with both personalities of Peyton, I love this, not only because of the lessons they both learn with this, but it just goes to show there is more than meets the eye in a person. Complex, well developed, a hint of suspense and steamy, I loved every minute of this one! Andrea Smith has become one of my go to authors when I am need of a great listen. Each of her books has been such a pleasure to listen to and I look forward to the next.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel bring this story to life. One of my favorite teams, these two have a chemistry the shines through in their narration. Thom has a variety of voices in this one, and while I love his warm baritone as Weston, I loved his creepiness as Peyton's stepbrother. Ongel comes in as Peyton/Penny, portraying the separate personalities excellently. I love both of them and always know I am in for something special.

Walk of Shame

Walk of Shame by Andrea Smith immediately pulled me in. I loved how original the storyline was and thought that the narrators of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel really brought the characters to life. One could feel the chemistry between Payton/Penny and Weston. I loved how there were unexpected twists. The emotions displayed came across as so realistic, I felt like I was eavesdropping on couple and loved every moment.

Love the next Generation

Peyton has a perfect idea and opportunity for her college thesis. Her study of the rich entitled college jocks. Peyton, disguised as Plain Penny Lane, tutors Weston Matthews, star hockey goalie. Along the way, she ends up finding out more about herself, why she was being judgemental. Why she was so hell bent to expose his famIly, and Weston as a spoiled entitled playboy. But what changed her mind? This is a story of self discovery, secrets, love and betrayal.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are phenomenal in their narration. The voices and personalities for each character were spot on, and ability to transition from one character to the other is flawless. 🎧#audiobookobsessionreviewer🎧

Walk of Shame

This book was very well written, the story was original and the characters clever. I haven't read/listened to the books in the G-Man series, which this series follows but It definitely pulled me in enough to want to go read that series too.

Tor Thom is a favorite and did a wonderful performance, Charley Ongel I believe is new to me but her performance flowed so well with Tor Thom's

Misadventures of a Misguided Feminist

When a misguided view on the relationship between men and women and society leads to life altering happenstance. Two sides of one Penny, Peyton tries to make sense of her dilemma. Along the way she discovers many things about herself and those around her. I found this book refreshing and lively. I loved Weston so much and how he manages to humanize and bring light to Peyton’s misguided aspirations. For a girl who thinks she’s figured it out Weston is about to throw a wrench in her plans. I so enjoyed them and wished there was more. I did however find myself really overly attached to a side character, Carson. I feel like this story needs to be written, in fact I’m ghost writing it in my head😁. So many possibilities and so much character deserve an opportunity and I hope to see it come to fruition. The dual narration on this was stellar and I can’t wait for more.

Not a Bad Listen

This audiobook was not bad. I enjoyed the storyline with the twists. Some were not expected and I loved that. Some funny parts but also some heartbreaking stuff. I loved how the author handled the sensitive topic. The narrators were ok. I liked it was dually narrated at times. Overall not bad

Really get to know a person

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. Andrea Śmith has written a wonderful romance story that really makes you think about how we judge people before we really know them. Peyton is writing her thesis paper on how rich college boys act. Weston is her subject and she disguises herself as a unattractive student tutorer. As the story progresses we learn how the past has shaped both Peyton and Weston. There are several twists and turns in this story. Peyton has to do some soul searching of her own. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel have the amazing ability of bringing the listener right into the story. They portray the emotions of the characters in a way that brings them to life. They are master storytellers. I highly recommend this Audible book. This is a gripping story that will make you think as well as entertain you.
