Short But Sweet!!!

I love coming a cross a great new series, and the first book in the "Venom" series did not disappoint. It was a great introduction into this world with vampires, shape shifters, and even gargoyles.

The characters were very likable; especially the members of the band! I can't wait to listen to the other stories to see how these characters develop.

One thing I really loved about this story is you get the POV from both the lead female and male characters and it's not just one person's point of view. I love stories that give more than one POV.

This is the first book I listened to narrated by Meghan Kelly, and thought she did a wonderful job. I will certainly be on the lookout for other books she narrates.

The only negative for me, and it's more of a preference, this series may be more of a YA, which is usually not my first pick.

Great start to the story and a big tease! As soon as I started the story I couldn't stop and that cliffhanger at the end!
Loved Meaghan Kelly's voice!

A fangtastic read!

Such a short but great read! From the very first word, I fell for this book.

Amazing story. Amazing characters. Amazing narration. Everything was just so grand!

Perfect narration! I was hooked from the beginning!

A good story but.....

The story was good it had so much potential to be a five star read. One thing that hurt the story for me was the narrator. I'm sorry to say this but disliked her voice for every character. It was whining and annoying. However, I enjoyed the storyline and the plot of the story. I think had I read this story instead of listened to it, I would have rated it higher. There was mystery, suspense, vampires, lycans, rockstars, gargoyles and so much more in this story. Just when the action started happening this story ended leaving me wanting to know what would happen. I hope Melody, her friend Susan and her cousin Chelsey show some growth during this series because their actions are a bit immature. I'm excited to know what happens with Slade, Liam, Jimmy, Shaun, Faye and Ethan. This was a great start to this series and I'm excited to know more, I just wish there was a different narrator.

Loved It!!

This was a Sexy, action packed, yummy book!! It will definitely keep you on your toes!! The chemistry is SO HOT!! I'm new to Kristin, but I CAN NOT wait for the next installment in this series!! It will truly keep you wanting more!! The narrator Meghan Kelly has quickly become one of my favorites!! I find myself wanting to listen to ALL her books, even if they aren't one of my usual genre's! " She just has THAT voice!!

I found this book just ok. Some YA books are great books with teenage characters, some are just immature writing. I found this the latter.

The narrator was good, but some of the characters, particularly the teenage girl that sounded like a valley girl grated on my nerves.

Different than what I am used to reading. I think that it would of been better to have a male and female narrator.

I felt cheated. I was at a loss as to how to honestly rate this book as this isn't really a complete book. It is just a taste and a teaser. It should of been a sample to get folks hooked on a longer more complete book. The book sort of ends in the midst of a beginning chapter on a cliff hanger. I hate books and movies that do this.

The book does show promise and has me hooked, however I feel that this book should not be sold as an individual book, rather it should be offered as a free sample introduction.

This audiobook is full of supernatural characters! They are mostly vamps, but there is a lycan too. The story starts with Melody dying to hook up with Slade the lead singer of Venom....she is out for a girls night and does not come home the next day...her cousin Chelsea is concerned about her, so her and her friend go to the club Melody was at to kind of investigate....And that's where the interesting part begins.
