Great YA series starter!
It's not complicated writing, but it's easy to get sucked into. I'd say the writing style is closer to twilight series than some other zombie series I've read. But it's great, light and entertaining.

Great new zombie twist
This book had a great cast of characters it was a very fast-paced action filled book. Had a new twist on the zombie Primus ended up reading it in one sitting can't wait for the next book. Strong female characters in the story very well written.

The stry was good but the narration falls flat
The story is good but the narrator reads it like a 4th grade science report. The changes in vocal intonation are few and the character's voices are all very similar to the point of not being able to know who is talking.

Enjoyable listen
I enjoyed listening to this book. It read like a young adult book, but I enjoyed it anyway. There was no sexual content and the violence wasn't too graphic. There was some romance thrown in as well.

What the heck
Good story abrupt ending. I guess the author thinks she is leaving us in suspense but this only makes people upset why not end it when they leave or are on the road to the cabin?

Good zombie story
It is definitely a YA story. (Not that I mind.) I like the characters. So many YA books make the characters way more mature than their age. The way the zombies begin is a little different, but I like it. Looking forward to listening to more. The narrator did a good job. It took a couple of chapters to get used to her. She isn't monotone.
