One of my Favorites

This is the only book in the Hero Club series I’ve needed to purchase and it was more than worth the credit.

Great!

This story goes to show you don’t have to be 10-12 hr audible to have a great story with lots of depth. This was my first time with writer Ester E. Schmidt I’ll looking up more truly enjoyed the writing.
Narration was top shelf with Jacob Morgan & Savannah Peachwood!

Graceylynn and Eddie

Eddie, the President of the MC is out of jail and ready to get back to his life and his dog. He finds his mom has hired Gracelynn and she's also commandeered his dog.
He swears there will be nothing between them. The drunken scene where she tests him his hilarious! But that also makes her trust him too.
It's a fun story, great narration. Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood's performances really brought me into these characters and this story.

Finally a Hero Club novel I absolutely loved,

This was just great, I loved the story line, the way the writer pulled it all together in the end. And Savannah and Jacob ok need I say more.

Savannah and Jacob did a outstanding job.

I hate to say it, but Finn is the star of this one

Eddie has been a fighter all of his life. Having grown up in the MC world, you kind of had to. He's had a strong moral ethic and that's why he's blindsided by being locked up for something he didn't do. He had to step up and be the leader after tragedy strikes not only his family but the club. In the midst of trying to deal with heartache, he's hit with one more. He's been accused of a crime he didn't commit, and he's been locked away. He's determined to make things right and find out the truth. He doesn't expect her to walk into his life.

Gracelynn has kept her head down and moved through her life with little to no commotion. She's determined to do good things with her life, despite what her father ones. He wants control of not only her life but her mother's. It's that control that proves to be enough to break her. When tragedy strikes her own family, she does the only thing she can think of. She runs to the beach, her solace. When she runs into Eddie's mom, she proves to have found a kindred spirit. She's doing well again and feels like she has things under control. Until he walks in.

Their journey is one that has a ton of ups and downs. As Eddie fights to find out the truth, make them pay, and take back what is his, Gracelynn becomes a constant. Her attraction to him goes beyond the physical. She can see the truth in his eyes and words and knows she has to help them. Their overall story is filled with so much emotion!

There are so many twists and turns in this book! The truth that comes through is filled with an insane amount of emotion. I loved everything about this book and can't wait to find out more about the extended cast of characters. So well written, and beautiful!

The narration was lovely. This was the first that I've listened to from the narrators and I found their voices to meld together perfectly for the story. The only thing that threw me off slightly was the female narrator's accent for Clemente. Other than that, perfection!

Loved this book. I rewound it over and over it was so funny!!! And Jacob Morgan is amazing. Always my favorite!!!! I mean it doesn’t get ANY better. He will always get me to spend a credit !!!

Cheesy, cringey insta MC/mafia romance

Ugh. The level of ick was off the charts.
I clicked buy because of Jacob Morgan, but even he couldn’t sell me on this mess.
So many things that turned me off.

🙄The audio is choppy, with the volume abruptly changing and some odd Italian and Australian accents.
🙄Even though it doesn’t say so in the summary, this is motorcycle gang and mafia romance and for this author that means Eddy’s making her his old lady after their first date, followed by old lady braggadocio getting thrown down constantly.
🙄Add crass language to the awkward MC gang lingo, with F bombs and the “bad” MC members calling her the C word and leering at her like mustachioed goons in a bad movie.
🙄Then there’s the silly “he’s in a motorcycle gang but they aren’t criminals” contradiction, made even sillier because they team up with the California Godfather and thus are okay with criminality.
🙄Then there’s the mysteries, which are Scooby Doo level stupid. At one point, they figure things out because they find the evidence conveniently laid out for them on the table.
🙄Finally, the lust, love, and speechifying are beyond insta. And that sex scene? If he’s apologizing for needing to go fast and hard, then there should be a better scene later.
Or not. Perhaps I’m better off not being subjected to any more.

Terrible story. Sooooooo cheesy but thank you for Zachary Webber so I could bare to get through this book.

What confused me even more was these people knew each other like a week and they are all of the sudden ready for kids and a life together? I get love at first sight but this was just ridiculous. The dog wasn’t funny, the FL was a spoiled brat, I liked nothing.
