Vegas, 2nd chance, amazing banter, rom com with spice!

This is a novella set in "Misfit Brides" series world. However I think that you can read this as a stand alone. You will just have met some of the secondary characters before and maybe get a bit more feels out of it. But it is not necessary.

This is not the first book in the series, but it can be read as a complete stand-alone. However I think you will get more out of it if you have read the other books as you have met some of the characters before. But don’t let that deter you. This can be a stand-alone. But it will make you want to read all the other books!

I listened to the audiobook of this, and loved it! I think that hearing the voices gives you so much more as a reader. You really can feel the emotions. You connect much quicker to the characters as well. These narrators were top notch.

What a great audiobook! This is a shorter listen that had wonderful characters, a single narrator (who did awesome!) and a such a cute, second chance storyline!

Tarra's story

Tarra found out in Spiced that her divorce had never been filed, so she has to hunt down her husband and fix that. It's been 10 years since that Vegas weekend, and lots of things have changed for Tarra and for Ben. What hasn't changed is the chemistry. I loved listening to Emma Wilder perform this story!

Finding love and joy

I loved this second chance Vegas wedding romance. This wonderful love story had the perfect balance of humor, love, real life issues, and messy pasts. On her wedding day, newly pregnant Tarra is dumped by the groom dumped after her learns her decade old Vegas wedding hadn’t been annulled like she thought it was. Newly single and expecting to be a single mom, she locates her husband to serve divorce papers. Ben left the corporate world and is trying hard to be a beach bum in Florida while fighting off his mother’s efforts to marry him off. In walks Tarra and he remembers why he married her in the first place. Now he just needs to convince her to not divorce him and let him back into her heart. Despite being short, this heartwarming novella was well written and included three dimensional characters and an engaging storyline. I am going to miss the wedding obsessed town.

Emma Wilder did a wonderful job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

Sweet, Delightful Romance!

This little gem is a sweet, delightful story that will hook you right from the start. Tarra and Ben fell for each other in Vegas ten years ago. They had a fun, passionate encounter that led to a Vegas wedding they both agreed to having annulled the next morning as they went their separate ways. When Tarra realizes their papers were never filed, she finds Ben to help her finally get the job done. When they see each other again, they see why they fell for each other the first time. They are different people now, wondering what they have been missing. Are they ready to live the life they started in Vegas? Tarra and Ben's story is filled with witty banter, an abundance of feels, meddling and busybody family, and heaps of unconditional love.
Emma Wilder does a great job bringing these delightful characters and this entertaining story to life.
