Dull book about literally nothing

I was hoping for something more listenable, but this? It's like a reading of a boring high school paper with no story, thought and execution quality. It's a paradox, that this guy is writing about UX and Ui, since his book gave me a very bad experience.

Hard to follow

I was excited to learn something new about ux design. Unfortunately the book is chaotic. It sounds like a mish mash compiled by ChatGPT.

Wow

So this book is very informative how ever. I’m glad it had attached PDF cause the reader is painfully awful with his monotone voice. Eventually I had to give up on reading and started the book all over and read it my self. Chad you sucks.

A confusing and questionable "item"

Edit: It appears there are only 3-4 authentic reviews (all negative) on this book and the remaining 50 are fake, all-5-star reviews generated on the exact same two days (ex: 08-30-20) by people with the same format of names. Buyer beware.

I don't understand what is going on here because this book felt almost nonsensical. Every chapter repeats the same concepts over and over in slightly different ways that only contradict some of the time. The word choices are very strange. It's like the author zoomed over an otherwise normal sentence with a thesaurus and picked the hardest sounding synonym regardless of whether that synonym conveys the same meaning as the original word. The sentence and paragraph structure felt bizarre too. I feel like the narrator was constantly reading from a bullet point list or a table rather than from prose. However, I reviewed the included PDF and realized that the writing was simply structured unintuitively.

I know only a tiny bit about UI/UX design and I don't feel like I learned much during the reading of this book. There were occasional sentences that captured pretty profound concepts, but they were glazed over far too quickly.

The narrator made references to "instructional exercises" that I might have done, and sometimes to a blog, but I have no idea what those are or where I should find them. They were certainly not part of this book, which makes me feel like no meaningful editing took place before publishing this ... "item" ("item" is a term used throughout the book to refer to almost anything the author wants, without bothering to define or explain further).

Having spent three hours of my life on this book, I now need to go find a different audio book to actually learn the things I want about UI and UX design.
