great guide

Very extensive and clear guide. After 40 plus hours I felt like I'd climbed a mountain but it was all worth it.

Good to have an audio version of the textbook, and it's a good textbook. But you are still listening to a textbook and it's a bit awkward sometimes.

There is no way to know what chapters are what. Not a great way to study if you can't look for the areas you need.

In-depth Dive of IT Basics

This is a very long and exhausting audiobook that covers every topic included on the current (as of May 2024) CompTIA A+ exam. Each chapter goes over essential knowledge and skills needed for an IT professional, and has a mini quiz reviewing the chapter. It teaches you, then quizzes you so that you know what concepts you understand, and what you may need to study further.

The only negative of this audiobook is the audio format is not conducive to some chapters and knowledge. For example, covering command line input and output is hard to grasp without seeing the symbols and text. The chapters involving binary, full of ones and zeroes, are also hard to follow in an audio format. At some point, they lose meaning in your head and are much easier to comprehend when seen written out.

All in all, this audiobook is a great resource for someone just trying to get into the IT field, or an experienced IT professional wanting to review and brush up before the exam.

Way better then anything else available. The chapters are only numbered so it requires precious time to find what you need. please fix it it gives a lazy feel to such a great product, specially considering that all competitors do it.

Audio learning

I been in the trucking industry for about 20 years and could not find time to pursue what I really wanted. This is a perfect tool. When it says “On the exam or on the pdf I can simply tap the clip button and come back to it or write something important in a notebook later. This info is more than cramming info about the test however which I enjoy. It keeps the knowledge not so dry. Please make one about the CompTIA Networking+ and I’ll buy it!

Very Detailed book

I have multiple study sources for the A+ certification, but I was fortunate enough to come across this audio book! This book is very detailed but worth every second of it. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to study for their A+ certification!

too much knowledge

The amount of information coming in all at once can be a good thing and a bad thing. Just doing my best to retain half of it, lol.
