Good

I really wanted the storyline to speed up. I think she should have made it a trilogy.

It only gets wilder!!

I have a BAD habit of powering through series and never making a review for any of the books in the series because I couldn't stop reading. This is one of those series. I couldn't stop.

The cliffhanger in this is driving me wild and I can't wait for the next story! That being said this story is getting pretty intense! Mirabella and Arsinoe are on the mainland. Mirabella is fitting in ok, but of course Arsinoe is not and fighting it every step of the way! This "blue queen" that is seeing them is sending Arsinoe visions of a girl so much like herself from years ago. Trying to give her clues, but clues to what? Another very well thought out plot twist from this amazing writer. There are so many things that have unraveled and come back together and unraveled again to make for some epic storytelling! They are being summoned back to the island. Its not through with them yet...

Jules, this tough heartbroken girl. She is on the island in hiding. With people rallying to her saying she is the Legion Cursed Queen who is the only person who can stop Queen Katherine from destroying the island.

I cannot WAIT to see what happens in the next book! This series is a top favorite of mine! I can't get enough of it!

Not as good as the first.

Someone said the ending was rushed and it definitely was. The story is missing depth, the new characters introduced don’t have as much breadth of character as the first book. You’re left having to read the third book (which I was going to anyway) but you could have stopped at the first book because that one ended in a perfect and satisfying way.

Total Cliffhanger!

This book is total chaos! And ends in shambles!! What is happening?! Guess that's how they get you to read the next one... So, now that I'm completely invested in these characters, they go and muck them all up. Whose on whose side and whose going to die? Because you know they can't all survive, we learned that no main character is safe in book 2... Love the narrator, great emotional depth and smoothlessly switches between characters. On to the conclusion.

Weird pronunciation

Katherine is pronounced Katter-ine and Arsinoe is pronounced Arson-oy, have first read the book this made listening to it very odd. But the story is great I enjoyed the audio much more than the physical version.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE CONCLUSION OF THE SERIES!

Really amazing book, well, except for the sudden and abrupt ending! I don't know if I can make it all the way til September to find out what happens!!!
