St. Stephen's is a dark mirror of the adult world, one populated by steroid-crazed jocks, girls desperate for attention, and jaded teens flirting with nihilism. And hidden among them all is one true psychopath.

SEXY MIA

I have liked the books by Greg Iles for some time and this book was no disappointment. The twists and turns keep the story riveting. I strongly recommend a listen.

Bite Your Tongue

What a tale! I found the use of vulgar language way over done for my taste. The descriptions of teen sex was just to vivid and lurid. The two 17-18 y/o girls spoke of their sexual actions with a matter of fact "Oh, so what" attitude and then two chapters later try to come off as Miss Bo Peep, Penn's friend, Drew, didnt just slip off the path of morality but rather ran head long into the Garden of Fleshly Delights and Penn himself begins to consider a side trip there as well. And somewhere in all this cavorting is of course a murder. The story did not have a consistent rhythm leading to a great conclusion instead it was filled with starts and stops. I like Dick Hill's narrations very much but this time he just could not pull off the Southern accents needed.

Great Series...

These books are long, but to me that is a good thing. I always have hated when a good book ends. The books in this series although long, leaves you wanting more. I can hardly wait to get into the next one. I do not wish to spoil anything for the people that purchase this series... I just hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

twists and turns!

wow, never saw some of the action coming. i think it could have done without the fillrr.

Really kept me going

Had to read this book during the day otherwise it kept me up at nights; intelligently written; great insights into Southern life and read by that wonderful narrator, David Hill.

Great story, Great narration.

I actually listened to it twice and it was even better the second time through. The narrator was perfect with accents and tone.

Could not stop listening. Dick Hill does a great job with Narration and you can never put down a Greg Iles Novel. Wonderful!!

Southern Court Room Drama

Nice sequel to Proven Innocent. It rolls along nicely if not a tad slow. Satifying read and worth the credit.

Very satisfying read.

The narrator and the story do a great job of holding your attention from beginning to end.

Kept me on edge of my seat

Really good story. Lots of twists and turns. A true who dun it. Very well done. Could not let it go. Had to find out what was next.

Could be a 5 star but some parts just got too gritty.
