Unwelcome Organ Harvesting ...
This book is great! This story takes place in New Orleans. Four seniors are the focal point in a nursing facility, one with a very sarcastic, unwelcome mouth. A doctor with a debt to a couple loan sharks who is selling harvested organs and a sadistic orderly who enjoys helping the patients provide those organs. Add a good dose of humor and that pretty much sums up this book.
Read Shepherd does a wonderful job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Delightful detective novel set in NOLA
OK, killing people to harvest and illicitly sell their organs isn't delightful, but the detective work and humor are.
I've often commented on Audible listener Shelley's reviews of mystery/thriller genre novels pointing me toward great novels and novel series. This is yet another example; it's one of dozens. I've never met or communicated with Shelley (Raleigh, NC) but her reviews and recommendations have contributed immensely to my love of and enjoyment of novels at Audible. I encourage others to utilize her reviews to find great novels. And to reward her outstanding reviews with helpful votes.
