Great story

This is Deacon Taylor and Julia Lawry’s story and one that drew me in I immediately and kept me I’m Estes from the first to he last chapter.

I have a new book boyfriend; there was nothing that I would change about Deacon. He is totally swoon worth, a bit of a bad boy with a heart of gold and ticked all the boxes for me.

Julia, what a woman.; there were times that my heart just about broke for her with everything she has been through. Ms. Force tackled some serious issues with care and dignity and I appreciated how she handled them.

There were times I must admit, that Blaine’s attitude towards Deacon really annoyed me, it fact I wanted to punch him out.
This was a sweet,funny and wonderful love story that was at times a roller coaster for the emotions. I really loved the friendship that evolved between Deacon and Julia and in turn it added such a deeper connection to their love story.

It is always great to read a new story about Gansett Island, it’s like coming home to your family as you get to catch up with what is going on in all their lives.  

This book as with others in the series was an extremely well written, sweet, sexy and romantic book. A fantastic addition to the series and the narration by Joan Delaware added to my listening pleasure. Although, having said that I do think that a male narrator for the men would really have another layer, but then that is just my opinion.

Amazing read

I loved this story. It was sweet amazing and OMG Maddie is pregnant again. Everyone is pregnant. Thank you for this continuation. Cant wait to read the next!!!!!

What a great gift to get for Christmas. My Christmas holiday was great but made even better with a quick visit to Gansett Island. Where the true gift of love and friendship lives passionately. This update on my favorite family and the new additions just made my day. As always Marie you rock! Keep them coming please.

AH-MA-ZING

Another master piece. The scene with Owen and Julie at the restaurant had me in tears. The love between siblings is nothing short of amazing. This is one of my favs so far. I don't think this series should ever end. Gansett is my favorite place to vacation. Thanks for taking me there.

Excellent narration and simply a pleasure to encounter the happenings on Gansett again. Loved it!

Trouble After Dark had my interest from the start

Trouble after Dark may be the 19th book in Marie Force's Gansett Island series, but it just keeps getting better. What I love the most about this book is that although it focuses on one couple in particular, it updates you on the world Marie has created. I thought I had loved Tiffany and Blaine's story, but Blaine's brother Deacon.... oh my.

I loved Julia and Deacon. I loved how their story unfolded and they knew they were meant to be. I also loved how Blain and Deacon act as only brothers can. This story was authentic and true to the world Marie has created.

I can't wait for more of this series!

PS - The audio version of this story only enhances this experience. Joan Delaware held my interest and made the book memorable.
