Resumen del Editor

John Mavren continues his climb to the top of the tower....

Fresh from the fight with the Crystal Dragon, John is still searching for a way to save Earth from the relentless monster hordes. By his side is the Shield-Maiden Enora, and together they face even greater challenges and more deadly enemies while allies support from afar.

As they climb higher, they discover that progress is not easy. The Deathmasks have stolen twin dragon eggs, and are determined to take control of the Tower, threatening the established order. Meanwhile, Paul, now the leader of the Spellbooks, uncovers messages from his past, leading him to question his own loyalties and motivations.

But perhaps the most dangerous threat comes from within the tower itself. A secret dynasty, made up of the most powerful beings in the tower, is revealed, and their goal is nothing less than the final extermination of humanity. Do John and his allies have what it takes to defeat these seemingly unbeatable enemies and save humanity from total annihilation?

From best-seller Wolfe Locke comes book two in the Realm Grinder Series, a new Tower Climbing LitRPG about an apocalypse, a Tower of Realms, and a Hero going from strong to stronger.

strongest and the weakest

main dude goes the highest but so damn weak. people that have no story line are so much stronger and better equipped.

Confused by this one

I don't understand why John dropped from rank c at the end of book 1 back to rank d at the start of this book. Except for that it was a decent book.

Dumb protagonist does dumb things

I liked the first book. I was excited for a second. The first part of the book was good. The pacing and actions felt right. It all went south after the abduction. The part that didn't make sense was that the author mentioned John had a gun that could one shot monsters on a certain floor. Yet John didn't go and power level for a week or month to get stronger. The last half of the book you are asking "why not slow down and gain levels". The author only knows tension by forcing John to rush up the tower. There are more ways to create tension and stakes other than to force John up the tower or else. The best thing to do was to stop focusing on climbing the tower and forcing him to go back down to find key things he overlooked on his way up the first time. But that doesn't solve for the author's ultimate muscle addiction. This could have been a great regression story. This could have been a good "the tower is a time paradox" story. The author doesn't know how to write that type of story. So the good elements take back seat to running up the tower asap.
