Refreshing to have a storyline where we didn’t have to wait for the character to catch on to their love. Sheridan has known since the beginning… EVERYONE knew how he felt from the beginning and it was pleasing to read from that outlook.

This series is suspenseful and exciting! Unexpected twist and turns along with good life lessons. I love this author, & this narrator combined are wonderful.

Oh how this book made me laugh 🤣 Lord Sheridan is an absolute hoot! I want more books with him in them, such a comical fella!

Great Story, Well Read!

Although it started a bit slow, this quickly picked up into a good treasure hunt story. The different personalities added great depth to the story and good humor. Looking forward to book 3!

I loved the characters & Liz Pearce is the perfect narrator

This series has more light hearted humor in it but it still holds the complex storyline.

2nd in an amazing series

When I first took a sneak peek at the description for this book while at the beginning of the first book in the series, I couldn't imagine how Sheridan was going to become the next hero. When I finally met Sheridan in the second book, I was really stumped. He might now be one of my most favorite romantic heroes of all time. This book was non-stop wonderful from beginning to end. I laughed out loud at parts, I giggled at others. I sighed. I got a bit weepy. Mostly, I got irritated when I had to stop it and do something else.

Love the story, but the narrator is hard to listen to.

I really like this story. I like the way the characters interact, laugh together, and jest. The love story and the adventure story work very well together. I particularly like that the author does not drag out misunderstandings between characters and allows potential love relationships to develop quickly. Some authors like to incorporate much angst into their stories but I like this one especially because that is not the case.
I did however find it difficult to listen to the story due to the shrill nature of the narrator’s voice. Any disagreement between characters sounded like yelling and that encompassed the first few chapters of the book. In addition her representation of many of the young men and the young women in the story make them sound as if they are 70 years old instead of 20- 30. If the story had not been so much to my liking I do not think I could have completed this book.

Wait for the series

As usual, well done from White. However, I wish I had waited to read one until the entire series was available. There are so many characters with so many details that reading book 2 months after book 1, I felt lost for many chapters.

So many laugh out loud moments in this treasure hunt. Simple clean romance, along with the lessons of God’s Grace and Forgiveness.

Absolutely delightful!

Loved this book so much,from beginning to end. So interesting and completely different from so many books of the same category.
