I have long suspected I have ADHD. I'm now diving into getting an evaluation. However, I'm impatient and want to work on it now. This workbook has even further solidified to me that I definitely have it to some degree. This workbook is so thorough and easy to understand. It's also paced in such a way that's easy to work a little at a time. There was definitely a lot of thought put into this!.

I liked most of the book but when she addressed nutrition, I did not find it as interesting.

As someone who was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD I was interested in this book for any more information on the condition, and possible tools to help manage my symptoms.

This workbook is easy to follow and relaxing to listen to. As the author suggests, I also recommend having a notebook to write out your ideas and answers while listening but I also had sessions in the car without and found it a great tool to help practice my mindfulness.

The narrator was upbeat and spoke clearly, with a relaxing tempo which really helped keep my mind engaged in the book.

Even after finishing this book I will be recommending it to my other adult friends with ADHD and my therapist. I will definitely be rereading this book and using different exercises to help with my meditation/mindfulness practice.

So first off, this book is available in print and digital formats, but I listened to the audiobook version—and that did make things a little tricky. Because this is also a workbook, I had to pause and rewind multiple times to complete the exercises, which meant this wasn’t something I could just casually listen to while walking or driving. Honestly, I think this one would be much better as a physical or digital copy where you can actually work through the activities as intended.

That said, the content itself is really solid. I loved that it focused specifically on adult women with ADHD instead of trying to lump all ADHD experiences together. The discussion about hormones and how they impact symptoms? Eye-opening. And the book is broken down into chapters that each tackle a different area of life—like relationships, exercise, career, and finances—which makes it feel really comprehensive.

Overall, it gave me a lot of practical tips and insights, and I genuinely feel like I walked away with a few strategies I can start using to manage my own ADHD better. I just wish I’d gone with a physical copy to make the most of it.

Although I'm not convinced that setting SMART goals (without external help) is a reasonable expectation for someone with ADHD, there is a lot of good info in this book. I definitely think it would be more useful for me if I were able to have it in physical, printed format so I can refer back to it easily as I work on the ideas.

With "Workbook" in the title, I should have known.

Just got diagnosed with ADHD at 35 and honestly I was drowning trying to figure out where to even start. Found this workbook and it's been a game-changer - not gonna lie, I ugly cried reading the part about rejection sensitivity because FINALLY someone gets why I replay every awkward conversation for weeks! The author really understands the whole "looking put together on the outside while your brain is absolute chaos" thing that so many of us deal with. I love that it's broken down into 30 exercises spread throughout the year because lord knows if it was all at once I'd hyperfocus on it for three days then forget it exists (you know how it is lol).
