When I started I thought this book may end up being dull. But I was pleasantly surprised the story line is the highlight I was entrapped

An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and it is 57 hours of some of the most enjoyable listening I've done in awhile. All Kaimeron wants is to be normal, not a king especially not The Heir. Fate has other plans for him though in book one. Following his nightmares into the daylight changes the world as he knows it.  Book two starts 25 years after the battle with Gava and rotates around the sons of the Kaimeron and their struggle to find a place in their world as they follow a young king trying to save it.  A combination of old and new characters in this book, brings it a fresh appeal as it wraps in the story.   This series has something for everyone, suspense, drama, mystery, humour and a touch of romance. This combination of author and narrator creates pure enjoyment.  The author has a special talent to create characters and stories that feel real and the narrator brings every story to life.   This combination of author and narrator creates pure enjoyment.  

Definitely a fan of this series!

Found a new series, I can’t wait to listen to the other books in the series!

Excellent Read

I am not a fan of fantasy. That being said, I was given these books as a gift and needed something to listen to while I waitied for other books I wanted to be released. OMG!!!!! I became hooked!!! The story line pulled me in and captured me within the first 20 minutes. The narration by Kelley Hazen was excellent. She gives specific voices to each character so you can tell exactly who is saying what and makes it so easy to lose yourself in the story.

The story line in The Talisman of Eldon left me cheering for some characters and cursing others. It was like "watching" a really good movie. I was stunned at the end of the book and couldn't wait to see what happened in the next book.

The Heir of Eldon had me hooked from the beginning. The continuation of the story from the 1st book shocked me, but had me hooked just as much. If anything, the story got even better!!!

I can't wait to see what the next books have to offer. I'm guess I've officially become a fan of fantasy.....as long as they're from this writer and narrator. LOL

I have been fortunate to have already listened to the first 2 books in this series individually, and reviews are posted. Now these 2 books are available in this fantastic box set! There are 5 separate parts which makes it very manageable... it’s over 57 hours long!

M.L. Hamilton has created a very detailed world with memorable characters. An epic fantasy.

Kelley Hazen is the perfect narrator for this series. She flawlessly moves between the characters and really brings out all the emotions and actions.

I’ll certainly be continuing with these books!

Great Read

The World of Samar Box Set: Volume One: Books 1&2 was a good read by M.L. Hamilton. This box set consists of the first two books in the World of Samar series; The Talisman of Eldon and The Heirs of Eldon. This series follows the lives of Eldon's chosen as they try to survive in a hostile land. These stories follow Cameron and his sons as they fight to free Loden from the depot Gave. I loved reading this story and can't wait to read more by the author. I loved how Kelley Hazen brought life to the characters.
