Current day. Historical past. Haunting

I found another author that I enjoy. I thought the narrator did a fine job. Easy listening to. The historical heroine was beautifully written. The current day heroine I thought behaved as a twenty something instead of a woman in her late 30 years . I wanted to slap her! However about midway through she matured to where she seemed more of a woman with better insight. Her ghostly roommate will break your heart!

Tales of Time, Pain, and Redemption

This is a beautiful, heart wrenching story. The prose and descriptions are a cornucopia of color and life.

Painfully predictable, but with a sweet ending

This is yet another witch story which strives to inform the reader of all the basic witchy things like unending references to uses of specific herbs, family tradition of healing, blah blah blah....

Tragic, yet sweet. In case you're not a kindred veteran of witch lit, I'll spare details that might be spoilers (although you can literally see them all coming a mile away).

It's going to be so refreshing one of these days, to find good witch lit that assumes you already know all the basics and can get on with a good tale!

Captivating intertwined stories

Beautifully written intertwined stories with delightful narration. The author did a wonderful job painting scenes, as well as, developing characters.

Beautiful Story

The story is beautiful even if, in my opinion, it starts out quite slow and some characters are not really interesting. The story of the 2 women is surprisingly similar in some aspects but that wasn't necessarily an issue. Overall the narration is great and the story was good enough to keep me listening until the end.

Captivating

I’ve recently discovered Ms Collins’ work. They’re so good. This is the second book that I’ve listened to and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. The story brought tears to my eyes and I look forward to another read.
