One day a new trainee joins Abel as a shadow, and Abel recognizes him as the young man who had put him in a coma. “You give good tours,” the trainee tells Abel. Loved hearing Fr. Greg's stories in his own voice. It adds even more to an already excellent book.

Favorite author

Fr. Boyle’s books are literary story telling masterpieces filled with wisdom. All three books are moving. They are an important addition to the conversation of social justice and faith.

Amazing

This book changed my perspective on the world I live in. The stories made me laugh and cry and touched my heart. Most importantly it reminded me that I believe in God and the Sunday School religion is not my beliefs. The fanatical religious groups does not speak for my God. Thank you Father Boyle for bringing back kindness and love.

This book has more preaching than stories. I’d recommend reading Tattoos on the Heart before this but still, it moved me to tears several times. And we need the sermon.
