Rachel is still reeling from the news that the Earth is secretly under attack by parasitic aliens known as the Yeerks. So glad I found this as audiobook, always wanted to read the series and never had the time, now I can listen to it anytime.

it's so great being able to listen to these stories. It's difficult to find time to read anymore. But being able to listen! That makes it so much more amazing. I'd only ever dreamed what the Animorph's voices sounded like. i am not disappointed. I can't wait to listen to book 3!

All the childhood feels

While I personally don’t find this the most exciting installment in the book series. It is a very good one as far as establishing the world, and character development is concerned. It definitely sheds some more light on the tragic events being perpetrated by the Yeerks. This book, written from the character Rachel‘s point of view, is a good low level neighborhood/city adventure. You can tell the author is trying to ease her readers into a more science-fiction world. In that respect, this book succeeds.
