I should have read these so long ago. I’m floored at how amazing this book is. When coming into YA I expect a certain amount of hand holding and corniness, but this book pulls no punches. It’s got amazing sci-fi elements and isn’t afraid to explore the very real consequences of war and death. 100% recommend for all ages.

I missed out on this series growing up, but it's great to catch up on them now.

I read the animorphs series as a preteen/teenager and largely credit it for my love of reading. This version was wonderfully crafted and Andrews does a phenomenal job bringing life to the characters. His voices are great and it really enriches the text.

If you were a fan of the series in the 90’s or if you never gave it a chance (or never had the opportunity) I suggest giving this audiobook a listen. It is well worth the 3 hours.
