What a way to finish the book out

The Surrender is the conclusion of JEM’s Arlington Hall Series. It can’t be read as a standalone. But, if you love a book with angst, lust, love major push and pull with a sprinkle of suspense then this is the book for you.

Wowzers! As always, JEM takes us on a roller ride and I’m here for it. She always does a good of giving all the angst, drama, making you feel all the emotions, pulling at your heart strings, all while serving up all the heat!
We leave off in The Invitation with a bet, and complete heartbreak. Jude is groveling trying to save his relationship with Amelia but nothing like 2 ex’s trying to stir the pot. Their shady moments (and there was a few) cause a big stink. It was definitely an uphill battle for them both. The complexities, challenges, intensity and angst of the storyline is always present. I was definitely on my toes. The push, pull, banter, the sheer chemistry and sexiness was oozing off the pages. They were combustible.

And, just when you think everything might go their way, bam… jokes on you. JEM definitely throws you for a loop. Jude had so much growth. Amelia, was a complete game changer for him and honestly a wild card he wasn’t expecting. He was vulnerable, open to love, showing Ameila the person he was deep down, while trying to prove to her that he could always be there for her no matter what hurdles got in their way. It was heartbreaking to hear his whole story. I love how they never fully gave up on one another. Excellent read and the story had such a redeeming ending.

Another Banger from Ms. Malpas!

A BIG 5 STARS! The conclusion to this duet had so many twist & turns and full of angst & spice. I was totally shocked when I found out what was really behind Jude's betrayal and actions, and her Ex......... Crazy but oh so good!! I started this as soon as it showed up in my library at 3am. Now I really need Jude's side of things. One can only hope! I would so buy it also.

Devoured this story!

When I finished The Invitation by Jodi Ellen Malpas, book 1 in the Arlington Hall series, I could not wait to start the next book because of that ending. I could not see where we could go after that ending, but I should have known this author would get us right back into the story. In The Surrender, we pick up about a week after the events of the first book. Ameila was left devastated, heartbroken and determined to never forgive Jude. And yet, as soon as she sees him again, she cannot deny the intense chemistry and connection they share. What is she to do?

Narrated by Shakira Shute, this is a billionaire romance with a possessive, protective, and demanding hero. And still, I could not help but love Jude in this book. I mean, he could still be a bit much and completely drove Amelia crazy, but there are so many sides to this man. He could be so challenging at times, but as we got to see more of him, he was also showing Amelia how much she meant to him and he wanted them to be together. Amelia was completely in love with Jude, but every time she thought they were moving forward, she was hit with surprises and unknowns. How could she ever trust him and build a life with him?

Though they faced so many obstacles, with ex drama on both sides, her career, his past, they were also determined to be together. It was not an easy journey for them, but I loved every crazy moment and reminded me of the first romances I read back in the 2010s. I was so captivated with Jude and Amelia and her friends and family. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Loved it!

What a ride this one was!!! My emotions were all over the place!! I read and listened this book at the same time for the most part. What a great experience that was! I was hooked immediately and I didn’t want to put it down! This was a true one sit read/listen for me! I just got so lost in this world, I didn’t even notice the time passing by! The narrator was so good! She brought so much life to every aspect of this read! This one really did play out like a movie in my mind. Everything was so vivid! This book is one of those that you won’t want to end! I found myself so attached to the characters that when it was time to say goodbye it was a bit sad!! Although I’m holding out that there may be a story for two of the side characters! With that said book one must be read before this one!! Overall this is a definite must read!!

I Dare You

I dare you not to fall in LOVE with Jude Harrison. Amelia couldn’t have stopped the freight train that is Jude Harrison if she wanted to. Lots of angsts, anger and shouting, plus a long night of one more chapter but it was all worth it for the HEA! A must read!!!

Finding love

Although Amelia could be a bit much with all her internal conflicts, watching Jude and Amelia through this book was incredibly satisfying. The HEA was perfect. The narrator did a great job with all the different emotions, and this was very emotional book.

Perfect Ending to the series

As always Jodi did amazing. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I have yet to find a book by this author that I didn't absolutely love.

Great Conclusion!

This is the second and final installment in the Arlington Hall duet. Amelia and Jude’s story picks up right where the first book ended. The story is complex and captivating, filled with secrets, betrayal, angst, suspense, passion, and unexpected twists and turns. Shakira Shute has a beautiful voice. She did an excellent job bringing the characters and their story to life.

So Emotional!

This book was beautifully written and the audio was perfect! I felt all the emotions.
