Every Silent Lie is Camryn Moore and Declan aka Dec’s story and what an emotional story it was.

All Camryn wants to do is keep going and my heart broke for her on numerous occasions.

This was an emotional, well written story that tore me apart. Using alcohol to keep her demons at bay, it’s a vicious cycle.

Meeting Dec, he is drawn to her as he learns about her life. However Dec has secrets that when revealed may impact Camry in ways she doesn’t see coming.

The growth of the characters throughout this story was intense
as they learnt to live life again.

The duet narration by Zara Hampton-Brown, Shane East, & Christopher Tester brought the characters to life. Their voices were easy to listen too and they brought all the drama, passion, romance and angst to their performances.

Finding love

Cameron was a mess, she was still suffering from so many things, and it left her a difficult person to be around and totally lacking any self confidence. Until Dec enters her life. Dec really made the story a wonderful addition to a story that had been miserable.

Different for JEM.

This book was a bit more somber than her other books. More real n many ways. Shane East is always amazing. The other two narrators were also good. Mr. Percival was my favorite and everyone needs someone like him in their lives. My only criticism is that the female character was too heavy and distraught for far too long. Personally, I could understand Camryn’s pain as I would feel the same, but maybe the story should have been 8-10 years out. The female narrator did a great job maneuvering between her emotions.I wish there were more Dec’s in the world.

Beautifully written

It was a beautiful book that made me laugh cry and swoon. Loved the duet audio too!

A great read!

Oh my! Where do I even start with this one? First off I went into this one completely blind. Boy what a ride this one was. This has probably been on of the most emotional books I’ve read in a long time. As one that doesn’t get very emotional when reading…even I almost had to reach for the tissues.

This book will break you and then you will heal. It was quite the roller coaster ride. This one will definitely stick with me for a while.

My attention was caught from the very beginning. Just when I didn’t think I could handle anymore…I quickly didn’t want this book to end.

I read and listened to the audio at the same time for most of this book. The narrators were amazing. They enhanced this story so much. They are probably the reason I almost had to reach for a tissue! The story really did play out like a movie in my mind.

I don’t want to go into to much detail and give away the story but if you like to have content warnings I would definitely make sure to check them for this book. As I said earlier, this book is heavy.

If you enjoy starting over, alpha hero, second chance, tragic past, suspense, angsty romances make sure to check this one out.

Another great book from JEM

I don't often review books because I don't read them myself. Everyone has there own opinions. But ever since I read my first JEM book I've been hooked. This one broke my heart a few times and the twist of the man as the rescuer was new but she didn't disappoint!

And Shane as the make narrator (swoon) one of my favorites and the sexiest voice out there.....definitely a must listen. Thank you JEM.

Every Silent Lie is signature Jodi Ellen Malpas perfection—raw, emotional, and deeply human. No one writes heartbreak and healing like she does, and this story absolutely gutted me (in the best way).

This isn’t your sugar-cookie Christmas romcom. This is the kind of story that cuts deep and glues you back together again. It’s emotional, haunting, and full of that quiet ache Jodi does best. It reminds me why she’s one of my favourite forever authors.

Zara Hampton-Brown delivers pure emotion, Shane East is swoon incarnate, and Christopher Tester adds that cinematic depth that makes it feel like a full-cast masterpiece. Produced flawlessly by East House Productions, this audiobook is more than a story—it’s an experience. One I’ll return to every Christmas… not because it’s heartbreakingly festive, but because it’s special.
10/10 would recommend.

A Christmas Story Like No Other

Emotional roller coaster! This story ripped my heart to shreds and slowly pieced it back together. Dec and Camryn are two souls lost for years until a chance meet up at a bar changes their lives forever. Broken hearts, kindred spirits. Get ready to feel all the feels with these two. The Christmas story like no other! The narration was spot on!!
