Resumen del Editor

After King Solomon's Curse comes Andy McDermott's newest Wilde and Chase novel, in which the intrepid pair find themselves in a race against time - to stop an ancient Atlantean weapon (more powerful than an H-bomb) from falling into the wrong hands...before modern civilisation is brought to its knees....

A Typical Wilde story

A typical Andy McDermott / Wilde story as this is the official 14th book in the series ( not included the short stories ) you know in the meantime what to expect from a Nina and Eddy adventure, highly unlikely events based around Atlantis myths lots of explosions, blood, cracking bones and an evil organization. You either hate it or love it, but if you got all the way to part 14 you most likely love it. ( even though you might deny it in front of others, we all know better ;-) ) this is however my first audio book in the series and although at first it was strange and unlikable.... it gave a whole new dimension to the story and characters got their own personality by the strong reading skills from Gareth Amstong. I must admit that at first I did not enjoy his style but quickly started to enjoy it and even started to love it due to the fact that he really can capture the personalities by voice ( if that makes any sense ) definitely going to look for more books narrated by Gareth

ok

The novel has less action scenes compared with other titles from the series, but quite readable( and listenable)

Mr. Armstrong voice is ok- not so good in voices like macy or Nina,s mother

Cruisin' for a Bruisin'

Andy McDermott does it again with another Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase rip-roaring, high-seas, action-adventure, thrill ride. If you're looking for an immersive audiobook narration, prepare for Gareth Armstrong's perfect portrayal of the wily archaeologist and her wise-cracking husband as they try to thwart another international disaster. If you're a fan of the previous books in the series, you won't be disappointed with this latest installment.
