Loved it

Scared me with what is possible when a megalomaniac, narcissist individual is able to take their sick dreams and make them a reality.
Fantastic narration. Will be looking for other audio books that George Ellington narrates.

Your live in the sleep lab - realistically amazing

You felt like you were in the sleep lab along side Dr. Wallis. It keeps you hanging on every word. I didn't want to stop listening and reading!.

Interesting

I was instantly interested from the get go, being a history nerd and knowing about this experiment. When the Professor becomes obsessed you start to feel for everyone involved. If you are a curious person and like a dash or gore, this is it.

I listened for days in a row.

This was such an interesting plot. I swear I spent days listening to it. The reader was very good at keeping me engaged as well!

Alright book

There was a very slow start to the book. But once it picked up, it was good.

Not a fan

I found the premise to be very interesting and there was so much that could have been developed here with the psychological decline of the patients. However it just turned into a macabre gore fest. I stuck it out hoping to have a clever twisty ending but it was entirely predictable.

I have it a three because it told its tale. But there was nothing special here. It was not scary just felt like self glorifying gore.

I am sorry I listened to be honest. What a waste of a holiday.

The narrator was okay, though not a favorite of mine.

Creepy

It’s an extremely twisted book! Pretty graphic and not for the faint of heart! Highly recommend!

Fast & Terrifying Ride

A narcissist Professor performs a sleep experiment on two young people. Keeping them awake for over two weeks, things go from bizarre to sheer terror.

This was an excellent read. The character development was on point and story interesting. I’m seeing other reviewers complaining about “stereotypes”, however stereotypes are there for a reason and display how we’re all different and interesting. I enjoyed all of the characters.

This was a very dark and disturbing read. Visceral violence, sex, madness and a nice surprise at the end. I would read this again.

Pretty good

Lots of twists and turns in this one! The beginning is a bit of a slow start but it twists into a wild ride.
