Engaging and informative yes, but it is also authentic in its tone. It made Dr Villoldo real to me, a real person not a perfect person. Each story brought me information on the shamanic path.

AV has much more to offer than this book. Seemed to me that this topic is difficult to cover but this book falls short. Also hated the performance.
