Glad I read this

I love Alberto Villoldo’s books, and this is one of them. I trust his intentions and wisdom, he was recommended to me by a shaman I had the opportunity to work with during an ayahuasca ceremony.

When I asked how I could continue learning shamanism from a reputable source, he recommended “Shaman, Healer, Sage” by Alberto. That’s where I started, and I will continue listening to every book he makes.

I Question Some of The Advice

To say, rather pointedly, you should always run away when you feel the strong attraction to someone to which you believe is like the love you would feel for a soul mate, I am not so sure I understand or agree with. I get that you shouldn’t look to someone else for your happiness, but to say that such a relationship would just recycle, and keep you stuck in Karma.. I am not so sure is always true. I enjoyed the book and learned a different prospective concerning surrendering to love and truth by removing false beliefs and illusions which are distractions, addictions or obsessions with the physical & material world. Always great to read from a great mind and spirit such as Alberto. More techniques and/ or steps would be helpful for those who would feel taking one big leap off the cliff would be too impossible, yet more steps and techniques might help more people feel it’s Cohn’s be possible so they would at least try. Some may read the book and feel they just can’t get there. But I think t many could with more coaching.

Not something you can read and call it complete

Not something you can read and call it complete. When you read this book the author makes it clear this is a life long journey! If you take each chapter and do the journey work that will lead you to more work. In the end you realize this is all inner work and you begin to work on yourself. At the same time you realize this is the inner work of the world because through healing yourself you heal the world. While working on what the author puts forth as work I began to read the book ‘Awakening in the Dream’ and I understand why the author talks about waking up. The more of us which wake up the more of the world will benefit from the awakening as this is the time frame for it. With the current global situation it gives us plenty of time to do the lessons in this book and begin to wake up in this world.

Great multiple time read!

I’m enjoying this book so much. Each chapter is filled with great knowledge to digest and it keeps me coming back to study more and more. Will definitely recommend to others and am so thankful for this book.
