you know exactly what's going to happen and there's absolutely no surprise. it's not horrible but it's not great either

Predictable but still a decent read

The narrators did a really good job making this entertaining. Even though I pretty much knew how the story would go pretty early on, it was still a quick engaging read.

Shocking ending….

Engaging. Entertaining and Fun Listening

While The Ruined Wife had some predictable twists and moments where better communication between the characters could have resolved the drama much sooner, I still couldn’t stop listening. It had a magnetic pull, keeping me invested from start to finish.

The narration brought the story to life in a way that made it incredibly engaging. Each character’s voice was distinct, and the pacing of the storytelling was just right. It wasn’t overly complex, which made it perfect for a relaxed listen while still being thrilling enough to keep me intrigued.

Yes, there were a few “if only they talked to each other” moments that made me roll my eyes, but honestly, that’s part of the charm in these kinds of stories! The tension and drama kept me hooked, and the twists—though sometimes anticipated—were satisfying in their execution.

the bad reviews are from people that did not give it a chance. there is more bad reviews than I've ever seen for a book honestly that's what made me buy it. so glad I did!
