3.5⭐️ rounded down because it's a novella. this was incredibly short and entertaining for its length. because it was so short, there obviously wasn't a lot of in-depth development of the characters and plot--but it's a novella, you shouldn't expect a lot of development. all in all, i enjoyed it and the audiobook was a nice accompaniment to one of my drives this week.

2🌶️ this short & sweet audiobook did have some explicit sexual content, which i would say was pretty standard for romance in terms of detail and descriptions. with this being so short, skipping it for a closed door experience will dramatically shorten the novella. i enjoyed the spice, but it wasn't spectacular and it didn't really stand out.
