Great Ending to the Series

LOVED LOVED LOVED this book the most out of the 5 books in this series! Excitement, fear, courage, full of love.

Loved the whole series. Love Teddy Hamilton but…

I love anything Teddy Hamilton narrates but somebody should have told him how to pronounce Hatteras and Manteo.

But what about Claire?

First I want to say that I loved the book, but to be honest, I expected some closure/accountability with Claire. She left her precious daughter and mother in peril. Jax and Morgan acknowledged it, but the Claire issue was never mentioned again.

Wow there are no words

This is the most heartbreaking and heartwarming book I’ve read in a long time. I absolutely loved all 5 books but this one…just amazing. Morgan’s story was devastatingly beautiful.

Loved every part

Loved it all. Great story lacking a tad of spice but overall great! Rebecca is on of my favorite writers

Relatable

I loved this book. I could relate to Morgan in more ways than one! plus my name is Ingrid so that hurricanes name got me.😉

I made the grave mistake of starting this audiobook while at work. By Chapter 3 I was crying, and then basically every chapter after that had me in tears again. I had to take breaks, come back, and cry some more. I’ve already warned all my friends not to read this without a box of tissues nearby. It’s too much. It’s good. But oh my god, my heart can’t take it. I haven’t cried this hard in years.

Now you might be thinking, “Darling, you read the description, right? You knew it was going to be sad.” Yes, I did. But it was included in an audiobook sale and it’s Rebecca—we all know she’s an incredible writer. I expected sadness, sure, but the sheer level of grief and the way it was written so beautifully had me bawling like a newborn. And of course, this was the first book in the series I picked up (because apparently I can’t read in order).

This book. This book was devastatingly beautiful. Every possible emotion—I felt it.

And Jackson. The way he loved her through her grief, gave her space, and supported her at every step was unmatched. I have yet to read a MMC this emotionally mature and this incredible.

I actually started the series with the last book without realizing these were interconnected standalones. Because of that I’m not sure how great her friends were before Will’s death, but honestly? I don’t think I could have forgiven the others for how they handled things. Sam’s friendship, though, was a saving grace—the kind of friendship everyone deserves in their life.

I highly recommend this book. I’ve already forced my friends to make it their next read.

Heart wrenching

The Reality of Everything is my absolute favorite book in the flight and glory series. Morgan is dealing with a broken heart at the man she has loved has died. She moves to North Carolina to try and start a new life but can’t escape the grief she carries with her. She meets her next door neighbor, Jackson and his adorable daughter in an extremely funny way. Jackson falls quickly but Morgan must first deal with her grief before she can consider a new relationship. It was refreshing to see how Morgan battled her grief, built stronger friendships by healing wounds and allowing herself to love again. Jackson is a patient, kind and loving man who was willing to fight for Morgan and accept her as she is. They have a beautiful relationship and I didn’t want the book to end!

Moving

This whole series has been wonderful. The growth of each character was fantastic. Each book will crush you and the last book will show you that with your chosen family you can heal and get through anything. Also next time I see a soldier and their families I will alway see them differently and will send a prayer up that God will give them strength.

Emotional and Engaging

I loved everything about this audio book. From the story line to the narrator’s voices. I finished in two days, and immediately relistened! Gripping, emotional, and engaging. Great writing to wrap up the series too… I loved these books and this was a great conclusion!
