Spanking Discipline
I have nothing against BDSM or spanking as foreplay but this book was not either of these things. the h was weak and needed "reminders" for her safety and carelessness. the H disciplined her because he cares. if this sounds like an abusive relationship, it's because it is. Maybe this left a bad taste in my mouth because I had a borderline abusive ex, I don't know. But yeah, it brought up bad memories for me. The spankings weren't graphic, but neither was the sex scenes.This was the second book I've listened to from this narrator. The first was of a slightly different genre, but both we a slog to listen through. Her cadence is terrible. it helped that this book was short, and I listened at 1.5 speed. I plan to skip any more books by this narrator.

Not for me!
This book was definitely not my cup of tea. A grown woman needing spankings to make changes? And the narrator was too stilted in her presentation.
