I’m loving Pippa Grant’s stuff! Likable characters, cute stories, fun dialogue with some seriously goofy situations. Erin and Jason are two of my fave narrators. On to the next!

great funny hockey romance

this story is HILARIOUS! I couldn't put it down. No spoilers but if you dont laugh at the 1st chapter scene in the closet, you're not human!

Gloriously Hilarious and Heartfelt

How many ways can you turn the name Zeus into a verb? Many. Many glorious ways. Zeus, Joey, and The Pilot & the Puck-Up had me crying, laughing over and over. The outlandish and outgoing personality of Zeus Berger is so entertaining and perfectly paired with bada$$ Joey "Fireball" Diamonte. I already loved Zeus and Joey on my first read through, and then I listened to the audiobook version. I never knew I needed every scene with Zeus and spiders as badly as I did until I heard Jason Clarke gloriously bring them to life. Both Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon are absolute perfection bringing The Pilot & The Puck-Up to life.

Duet narration people! Worth the credit!

I listen to way to many books and I almost always listen to them sped up to at least 1.25 if not 1.5 but if they are bad zoom it up to 2.

I haven’t listen to an audio book at regular speed like ever. But pippa’s dialogue is so damn fast and bright and so entertaining that I have to slow it down. It blew my mind when I was missing stuff. I never miss stuff. Her dialogue is just so damn good and so damn quick.

I didn’t think I was going to be into this book when I read the description. An alpha female type is an interesting one to read and the balance can be super off but damn she nails it. It was in my wishlist... but when I found out it was duet narrated I immediately clicked buy. To the marketing team who reads these... stick duet narration in big bold letters on the cover in the description etc and insta buy!

I really loved this story and you can’t get better than jason clarke and Erin Mallon with hockey and flying.

Hilarious & All Things Awesome!

Pippa is made of awesome! Her characters are so original! I had a smile plastered on my face from the first few minutes! This book has everything: Humor, positive role models, Berger hijinks, and details behind the amazing character that is Zeus Berger.

I have been waiting for Zeus' story since the beginning, and this definitely delivered. All along I have wondered who could be a match for that larger-than-life person/personality. Joey is so freaking cool! I love her attitude, independence, and rock star ability to kick everyone's ass and make no apologies! She is PERFECT!

Only Zeus could recover from a start like this one, with his ego intact. From the very first scene in that PERFECT outfit he was everything I have come to love about the Berger Twins, and more! This sex-positive, snort-laugh-generating, deep-in-a-sneaky-way romance is everything Berger-worthy - and more!

Two of my favorite narrators were just the icing on this duet-style narration with excellent performances!

Definitely worth the credit. Stellar performances, hilarious dialogue, sticky situations! (less)

The god found his goddess

Who doesn’t love the Berger twins? Zeus and Ares are the biggest guys on and off the ice. This means that it takes a special woman to handle a man with a godlike complex... meet Joey. When Zeus meets Joey at a charity event he knows he’s met his match. Joey is used to being on of the guys. She likes it that way... at least that’s until Zeus barges into her life in a dress and size 18 heels.

These two are so made for each other! Their egos are as big as Jupiter (he he) and the love they have for their families is as vast as a star filled sky. The hilarity that this book brings is only made better by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon. I love the dual narration within their chapters... it adds so much personality to the story (even though I love their opposite sex voices).

If you want a gift for your ears and lots of laughs... this is it!

If you have read this author’s other series/previous books you will get a bit more out of it because you have met the characters before. But don’t let that deter you. This can be a stand-alone. But it will make you want to read all the other books!
