Saint is my favorite

Loved this, but of all the characters I think Saint had to be my favorite. I do love me some Vampires but they made his just so desirable. I could have listened for hours just about him. But the others were pretty good too.

the constant detailed orgy's take away from the overall story which is very imaginative and different .

All about the men

Izara Castillo has a killer living inside her. At least that's what they told her but she doesn't remember killing. Now she's been sent to The Academy of Six where she has four semesters to discover and control the monster within her. The Academy was created to stop a reckless power, to help students learn to live with their prod but along the way its mission became twisted, distorted. They stopped helping and began destroying their own. Izara can't find her prod. She's powerless and at the mercy of bullies and would-be murderers as well as her three sexy roommates and her angelic best friend. She must figure things out fast or the consequences will be deadly. She could destroy the academy and everyone there including those she loves. She must find a way to protect them from herself. She must be in control. Even if she has to make a deal with the devil. But everyone knows the devil can't be trusted. However, she has more than her demon side. She carries Mommy's blood and power too.

This series is easy to read, entertaining, and the character growth is good. Izzy made some decisions/mistakes which frustrated me but the guys more than made up for any failings she had. Saint, Phoenix, Malek, and Syko turned out to be everything I could hope for. They were reason enough to read this book. Throw in Azrael and his jeans wearing pixies and I was thoroughly satisfied.

Listening to this series on audio is the best way to go. Some books are meant for audio and this is one. The characters were engaging, the action was more intense, the humor more entertaining, and the storyline more engaging overall. Jennifer Blom did an admirable job narrating so many female and male characters. She was able to deliver each in a manner so I always knew who was speaking. Kudos to her!

The narrator Sooo good

It’s a good series. Many POVs which the narrator nailed. I do believe the box set is what made this super enjoyable. Some scenes were a bit lengthy and I could fast forward .

I absolutely loved this series there were some twists I was not expecting. The guys were absolutely amazing and pulled through even when things were getting rough! And the narrator Jennifer Blom was bomb!! When I first started listening I thought there where multiple narrators but it was just her! 100% plan on re-listing!

Great book

the narrator did a fantastic job. she really brought the characters alive. the action and adventure was great. the growth of the characters was great.

This series was so good that I could not put it down. I really enjoy being able to listen to all of the books in a boxset. Jennifer Blom did an really great job narrating this series!

Bleak and boring, DNF at about 50%

I really wanted to like it, but it is really bleak.
It just drags in a very bleak monotone for a while. I just stopped it and I can barely tell you what happened. It's just a bit boring. The main character reads a bit like a disinterested teenager, despite being in her 20s, and her disinterest leads to a rather uninteresting POV. The writing is good, just a bit boring and needed a stricter editor.

Loved that it was a diverse cast and that the FMC is Latina. It explores a bit of her Latinx heritage and it was nice to see bits of Spanish woven in. I also enjoyed the use of the fake dating trope. I think Jennifer Bloom does a great job voicing so many characters and even gives the Spanish character a good (and sexy) accent. I wouldn't buy it full price, but it's not terrible and not egregiously offensive (which is kind of my bar for RH - I love the genera, but I don't expect much from it). If it's hitting a lot of your favorite tropes/ interests, maybe give it a shot if it's on sale or you have a spare credit, otherwise I think it's an easy pass.

Soft porn

If you like soft porn I guess this is ok but otherwise very little story after all the sex.

Drones on

While I love getting full series for one credit, this one was painfully long. I appreciated that the FMC didn’t know everything all of a sudden, but I couldn’t even make it to the last book she was so whiny.

Narrator was amazing.
