great story leaves you wanting the next book. the characters are extremely interesting and you find yourself excited to hear what happens next.

Travelers Tale

The different Kingdoms of the Viking world the story takes place in. Creates a wonderful cross section of the North Atlantic in the 12 th century.

One of the most action packed historical fiction novels I've ever listened to/read. The quality of writing as it changes stories is brilliant. The Reader, fantastic!

Love spending time with the Norsemen characters!

So much fun to accompany Thorgrim and his fellow Vikings on their latest adventures. As usual, some parts were so exciting they left me breathless, and others had me calling out, wanting to tell the characters “don’t go that way” or “watch out, don’t trust that person”. Always sorry when the story ends but hope the next one comes soon.
