Book number 2 was a continuation of all the goodness book number 1 started. The mystery unfolded surprise after surprise, and laughter unexpected. Richard Osman just knows how to connect readers to the characters and Leslie Manville gives them each a true voice. Another recommendation for *Must Listen* as well as must read. (It was so good I bought the book, too!)

Lesley Manville brings each one expertly to life, with the perfect touch with Osman’s deft prose, striking the balance between playful and tender. in this book the second of the stories that follow the Thursday Murder Club AKA Japanese Opera enthusiasts, all my emotions and all of my thoughts of intrigued have been sparked again. not only was I captivated and figuring out the who's who of new characters but also I was enraptured by the ones who came back from the first capers. by the end not only did I feel like I was part of their Club but I felt like I was there right in the middle of the intrigue, Mayhem, escapades, romances and yes by the end I cried a little but not from sadness.
