Another great book

I love this series. The world created by the author is amazingly detailed. The narrator does a great job.

a love story so twisted I wanted to kill several characters.

How to destroy a relationship? assume to other person is upset and don't talk to them.

Good listen

The soft porn throughout detracts from the overall story. it almost made me stop listening.

Love this series!

4th time reading this series. Always enjoy Ayla's exploits! Heartbreaking, uplifting, Auel supplies it all!

Cheesy, but fun

You'll get used to the narrator. She sounds a bit like a robot, but you will adjust. It's better, and slower than her reading for clan of the cave bear. The story is what you by now have come to expect from this series -- more of the same. For me, that is the appeal.

The detail and rich characters

This is an absolute must read for anyone who loves historical fiction. I have read this series about five times now.

I find it amazing how they totally survived on what grew in season. they learned to store for winter. people today are soft.
