Too stretched out, lost interest
The narrator is very good.
The story was drug out and got boring. Had a hard time connecting with the characters. I very much enjoyed People Of The River but this one fell short.

Excellent foundation story
Enjoyed the book overall. There were some slow spots, some areas where one can't imagine an ancient people communicating in the way that the Gear's conveyed. Over an excellent audiobook.
