Resumen del Editor

Jon Hunter has made it home. But a lot of things have happened to him over the last year. Some of them made no sense at all to those with him, but they accepted the really weird as if it was part of him. Jon himself didn't understand a lot of it, but accepted he wasn't allowed to know yet.

But what really happened, and why?

For 600 odd years, Hunter's have traveled space. Where did it all start? What were the events which shaped the galaxy Jon Hunter finds himself in? And what of the previous Jon Hunter's, mentioned in prophecy?

Thirteen doesn't like humans. The last thing he wants is to be assigned a mission to babysit them. Given a choice, he'd happily let them blow themselves up, after he saved all the cats first. Exactly how humans could ever have anything to do with galaxy wide consequences is completely beyond his ability to understand.

When asked to perform an intervention, there was always freewill to choose not to. But in this case, does he really have a choice?

For Thirteen, walking with humans for 650 years, is definitely a long road to Gaia.

This is an interlude novel between parts one and two of The Hunter Legacy, from the point of view of a new character in the series.

Recap of the previous books.

Performance was done by someone who did not bother to listen to any of the other recorded material. Names of items were off and Janes voice was done in a way to maker her sound like a bad version of Alexa.

Best story in this series yet!

To me this was the best story in this whole series to date! I really liked the time jumping and multiple streams of time aspect s and the way it was described in this book. New narrator getting familiar with this story arc did all right

The performance was terrible and painful

this was a terrible performance I went from laughing at how terrible it was to being annoyed by it. The story maybe ok if it was not butchered by the performer but ill never know.

Couldn't Get Past the Narrator

First I would like to say I don't "love" the series, it has a few issues on its own but I do like it. The author tends to repeat things a lot from book to book I guess to get people up to date if they start in the middle of the series, and in the nightmares the main has, witch comes off more as "filler" than actually adding to the story. Now for this book: First off I HATE when they change narrators in the middle of a series. I can under stand it if its the 2nd book and you had a bad one for 1st book. Or if your going down a side arc with completely different character like in book 6: Burnside's Killer and its NEEDED, unlike this one. The narration itself was horrible, first the narrator for whatever reason try's to make this a suspense novel and not just a back story. There is no real action and no intense edge of your seat plot points (at least for the hour or so I could get through) yet she reads it as if your heart rate should be at 150.. This is completely out of character for this series. On top of this her accent has very hard S's witch is very annoying with the way she reads this book. To be far, this is the first book I have listened to by this narrator so I don't know if this is just a 1 off or a character flaw. There is another series I plan on trying that she reads for so I hope it is because that one has 200 books and it would be a shame.
