Building suspense and red herrings

I really enjoyed listening to this story. It is well written and performed beautifully. There are red herrings and suspense. The characters in this series are likeable.

A tangled web

A new begging of job and marriage makes this one interesting! So many red herrings to try to misdirect. Good story and narrative

the suspense was great

That book was so good. I have read other books by this author and I really like the character and up the way that they are right and the way they, I'll keep you in suspense, and you never know the truth, til the end. great read.

Enjoyable Read

There were a few annoyances but overall I enjoyed another Ravenscroft mystery and will continue with the next in the series. The narrator is excellent!

I enjoyed the way the author used a previous evil character into this story.

I loved the whole plot. It was hard to guess what was going to happen next. It was interesting the way Ravenscroft used clues to solve the mystery.

Love this series and how each one takes you away to the world of the characters perfectly! Fun listen and excited to start the next one!

Interesting plot

Good narration and story line. The detective is a friendly, transparent and clever. The connection of the crimes was unexpected.

Easy to listen

Easy on the ear. Story okay, not too slow or borring. Feels like Midsummer murder series.

Fun mystery

I felt that there were a few plot problems, but overall a fun mystery. The reader did an excellent job.
