My daughters (ages 9 and 11) and I all loved this audiobook. Engaging and suspenseful. Perfect for long car rides or downtime at home. We can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series.

A Plethora of Action
What an amazing journey... full of suspense and action. I listened to this on audible. When I read the book, "The One And Only Ivan," I thought about how Applegate captures the world Ivan lived in, and how touching the story was. After hearing that another book came out by Katherine Applegate, I knew I'd love "The Last: The Endling" I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

Would recommend!
Seemed lame at first, but I decided to give it a try so I downloaded it and was not disappointed. The character development is good but other than the fire knight the villains lacked a sense of threat, I feel like there should have been more violence or something to make us fear them- but this is probably a kids book so I get it. Would recommend!!

Endling the last: the best :-)
wonderful book, written well. we already gad a paper copy and learned we loved her writing from reading the one and only Ivan.
So I got this and we listened to it while in the car. took a while only because we mainly listened on the way to and from school. it brought my 3 sons 10, 10 & 8 together. gave us something in common that also gave us conversation and discussions leading to very interesting times. I highly suggest this book and can not wait to read/listen to the next 2 in the series
