It's the Bible.

if you are looking for a reading of the King James Bible, this is your spot. There are a few different narrators which helps if you are listening directly through. Each reader takes a relatively equal amount of the text. they do not switch back and forth nor do they present the text as a dramatic reading. Just the bible read to you. It's what I was looking for and hopefully this review helps.

Great Narration

Not melodramatic. Really nice that women's voices were in the mix. Very listenable. I did speed up the playback a smidge .

The Best Book Ever

This is a great version of The Holy Bible. Besides being accurate, the narrators did a great job. I was not sure I would like hearing a woman narrate the Bible other than books like Ruth, but she did a great job, they all did. Even though people get paid to do this, I really appreciate them doing the Bible and such a good job. I appreciate Amazon having this available and the continued excellent selection of other books.

This book is the greatest selling book of all the day.Actually ban this Book from receiving The New York Times best-seller because it won for like 35 years. Look, it up, still the greatest book in the world. Still the best selling book in the world.

Written so long ago and far too relevant today

It's not a race, it's a marathon, or a slow walk in the park every day. Starts off pretty interesting delving into stories we've probably already come across in some way or another. There are some parts that feel a lot more like documentation but hold strong they're more or less well spread out. Once you get far enough into it you'll notice the distinct dynamics between the Old testament and the New testament. Leaving its content aside the old testament is far easier to read and understand when compared to the new testament. Can't help but advise a second read to the new testament alone, to better grasp it's ever alluding message. All in all even if your not religious this book is worth a read for reference, philosophical inquiries, or curiosity
