This book was written with the intent to be by your side when I cannot be there with you. Originally intended to be in the hospital room, my professional experience shows me that healing often takes place outside the hospital walls. Whether you are a professional or someone who is supporting a loved one who is ill, this book has something to teach as well as provide comfort and guidance. As such, it is not meant to be an academic tome - rather, something you can listen to and hear a voice that will inspire you for this particular moment in time.

Outstanding book and marvelously narrated!

I found The Healing Hand to be a very inspiring and thought provoking. As we age and more of our friends and family are passing on, it is a good book to keep on the virtual bookshelf and listen to every year or so as the book is under 4 hours. I plan to recommend the book to my wife and children should my demise be sudden, and I plan to have the hard copy book on my nightstand should my final illness be extended. The book will be of assistance to the living and dying by helping us engage in the discussions recommended by the author. I enjoy listening to a book when the author narrates the book and Ms. Deutsch does an exceptional job conveying her message and personal stories with compassion and empathy.
