such incredible angels the author took. things you wouldn't consider from the standpoint of the Pro Nazi's.

excellent book- must listen to understand. Pro Nazi angel- different from other books..showing all sides of german life.

What a wonderful story

I just finished this book and I am so sad it’s over. It was an extremely satisfying story filled with rich characters and so much history. I really liked the narrator too, her voice was soothing to listen to and her accents were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed this and will look for other novels written by this author and/or narrated by this narrator.

Different take on the same

The story kept me intrigued and entertained. I won't say this was a story that kept me wanting to stop everything and listen to my book. But, it was a story that kept me interested. I can't give the narrator a high mark because her cadence and inflection was so overly dramatic. Or at least emphasizing drama, which was inappropriate at so many times. I got used to it and and so was able to finish the book. Overall, I'd wait for a sale, I wouldn't use his credit.

Life after war

Excellent description of those left behind and separated because of war. Kept my interest the entire time.

3.5 stars

I really liked this book. It made me want to learn more about Germany after the war and how it was divided and then eventually reunited. I did feel like the end was anticlimactic and rushed compared to the detail the author put into the rest of the story. I figured what happened would happen, so there were no surprises.

The war from a different perspective and females who assume leadership roles from an unsuspecting background.

Great story!

Did not like the readers voice at all. But the story held my interest so I stuck with it and was glad I did.

I love WWII books and here is a story i hadn’t heard or even dreamed existed.

How the to sisters found each other and what they endured

Told at a different view. How family is still family by blood and what happens in there lives

Heartbreaking

Beautifully written and performed !
I will never forget this story , the characters will live on in my mind.
