I loved this book!!!

This book was amazing! I’m so excited to listen to the next book. Penelope Barsetti created such an interesting world. I loved that it had medieval and paranormal vibes while having a modern vocabulary. I loved the characters even if you loved to hate them I also loved some of the character’s evolution. The only slightly negative comment I have is that the male narrator could’ve done better.

This book was an unexpected surprise. I expected this book to be more sci-fi than romance. The romance was more erotic though but it was really good. I enjoyed all of it, even though it ended on a cliff hanger it still made sense and you got a good healthy book as well. Thankfully book 2 and 3 are already written and waiting for me to read so I am off to book 2.
The narrators were both really good and their voices fit the description of both characters.

This is one hell of a story!!! I have always enjoyed Penelope's dark romance but I have to say that this Genre has taken her writing to a new realm!!! Her skills have created characters, and worlds at another level in her Extraordinary mind.
