Queen Rolfe betrayed me.

My own mother.

The Teeth have my wife, and I can't allow myself to think about what they're doing to her. I need to raise an army to get her back, and if I can't, I'll march in there and do it myself.

What is storyteller whether you read the book or listen to it on audio it's a great story the trilogy only gets better and better

Add in the first book the sex scenes aren't good but the stories are and I will read the third.

sex scenes suck but great story

Voice over and Narration is truly a gift and the female Narrator was almost distractingly bad. Things like dramatic, drawn out words are not necessary to a good story.

Good Story; Poor Female Narration!

This book was a solid follow-up to the first in the series. I absolutely love Ivory—she embodies honor, honesty, hope, and love for all. She’s a total badass! Huntley, on the other hand, is a bit more questionable, and I struggle with how he treats Ivory at times. The addition of Pyer and Storm was the true highlight of this book!

Overall, this is a fantastic story. Yes, Huntley calls Ivory "Baby" constantly, but it’s his term of endearment, and I don’t think it’s a big deal—people making a fuss over it are overreacting. My only real complaint is the female narrator; she uses the same voice for all the women, which made things confusing. The male narrator, however, was amazing—his voice for Storm was exactly how I imagined it!

The betrayal wasn’t surprising, nor was Ivory’s response, but that didn’t take away from the story. Now, I’m off to Book 3 because I have to know what happens next!

This was a good read. I recommend it

I can't stand when an author leaves the story hanging until the next book comes out. I know why they do it, but I try really hard to avoid those books.

The book is good, but...
