Good until the improbable ending

The story was good until the convoluted, highly improbable ending. Narration was good except for the fella calling out the chapters.

Great book and loved the suspense!!! Great twist at the end! Even loved the narrators voice! And lastly could not believe it was a free book!!

Solid Story with a Great Payoff

I can't say that the characters or even the basic story line(s) are compelling - it's a fairly pedestrian premise. A good-looking, narcissistic, wealthy man living his charmed life rarely caring about anyone else. He's plastic surgeon, wired to curate an elevated lifestyle that includes disposable love relationships. He may improve the exterior facades of the women he gets involved - but also leaves ugly, internal scars that lead to vengeful fantasies.

Like many 'man uses women' plots, he meets an end that only surprises him. As a reader, you'll recognize the writer's effort to build justification for his murder. But, if you stick with it like I did, the ending will satisfy you in unexpected ways - least of all your desire to be caught off guard.

I enjoyed the performance and the authors reminder that I don't always get the ending figured before the anniversary says "Audible hopes you've enjoyed...."

Nice twist at the end

I love a story that can keep me engaged and guessing and this one did to the very end.

I appreciated that every time I thought I had it figured out there was something that had me keep questioning and changing my mind. Performance was well done.

Highly improbable, but a good fun murder mystery with lots of sex, Good read for a rainy day. Excellent narration.

The twists of the story were interesting and repeatedly changed what I thought as the story progressed.

It was a compelling storyline. The voices were sometimes confusing because of similarities. The ending was a surprise. Very clever.
