I loved it!

I didn’t think I could love characters more than the rumble characters but Amon and Rosie are the best. Great narrators in this book also. The world Julie is creating is amazing and I can’t wait to start the next book

A Life Less Ordinary

I really enjoyed listening to this one and I felt even more “pulled in” to the life in Trinity. Rosie is a firecracker and as a single mom I cheered for her all the way! Also, JA’s EOBS had me tuned in. I’m a fellow equestrian who took a time out and just returned to riding this past year. Make time for the things that make you happy. Just a whole lot of what Julie said struck home with me. Thank you for writing books for all of us!

The Sermon part 2

Possible Spoilers:
Rosie Harlow is indomitable. She became a single mom at 15. She’s raised a very likable son who is now 12. She works 3 or more jobs and has money put away for her son and a rainy day. She insists she only dates sketchy young men from towns outside of Trinity. But does she? When does she find time? Or are they fictional because she’s holding out for Mr Right?
Then Amon Parrish returns home to start Edge Security with his partners Collin Creed, Nash Skinner, & Ryan DeSoto. He’s traveled the world. He’s seen and done things. He really wants to settle down with the right woman. And he’s really impressed with Rosie Harlow. He’s willing to court her in front of the Revival.
Now they just have to get past the obstructive and manipulative government contact Amon and crew were dealing with. And find out who is stalking Rosie before her past comes back to haunt her and she loses her son. And hope closer ties to Disciple don’t come back to bite them you-know-where.
JAH’ end of book shit continues to be interesting.
Hamilton and Erickson do a great job of narration.

I absolutely love the romance 💘

Oh my goodness!! Amon Parish is every woman’s dream romance all wrapped up in a hot ex-marine, dog 🐕 loving trainer who happens to be part owner of one questionable elite security company located on an old abandoned mine, that’s been turned into some sort of military compound.

He has set his eyes on Rosie Harlow and has turned all his charm into courting her and he is swooning the pants right off every woman around watching, including Rosie ♥️♥️

Rosie is, according to Amon, every man’s dream with her adorably cute smile, outfits and dirty talking phrases she says to him and her occasionally slu**y clothes mixed with her prim and proper clothes to play the part in Bishop, Disciple and Reverent town parts.

I absolutely loved reading this story, it had all of the over the top romance 💘, humor and a bit of mystery going on and it can be read as a standalone, but if you really want to know all the side character stories, then you’ll want to also read the first book in the series, The Rumble and The Glory.

Listening to the audiobook of this story, read by Teddy Hamilton & Ava Erickson, these narrators delivered an excellent story and completely pulled me into the story!

Another great series is born!

Initially series was a little slow to start but once it got going I was hooked! Listened to
Both books in 2 days and have pre-ordered the 3rd. It does have a company feel but with a twist. JA Huss never Disappoints! Definitely worth the credits!

Great continuation of the series

These characters and this location is so fun. Trinity county is just a place I’m ready to see and I love the idea of all 3 towns. The intrigue is unusual and historical enough to keep my attention. The spicy stuff is better. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Huss always seems to expand her worlds way past where you think they could go.

The performances were both good. Not usually a fan of Teddy Hamilton, but he’s actually not bad with a southern accent. It’s causing him to use his lower register, which is a necessity in any romance audiobook. Ava did a very nice job and was enjoyable.

Loving this series

I’m really loving this series. This is book two and I may love Amon a little more than Collin. Him courting Rosie was just the cutest and I found myself smiling throughout most of the book. There is some drama and mystery in this book, which made me love it more. I want to know what is in those canisters and what exactly is going on underground.

I will definitely listen to this book again. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators and did an amazing job, along with Ava Erickson.

You won’t be disappointed purchasing this audiobook.

Great Continuation of an amazing new series!

I absolutely adore Amon and Rosie! They are a match made in heaven! The mystery unfolds in some ways while becoming more convoluted in other ways. This is a must listen to series, and as always, perfectly narrated!

Swoon worth but still sexy as hell.

I loved how romantic this book was! Still classic JA Huss with intrigue, suspense, and hot sex, but with all the romance that makes you want to give dirty looks to your significant other for not being like Amon. Loved it! Can't wait for the 3rd book.
