Uneven sound issues.

I found this audio book ito be much less effective than others in this series. There were too many issues with the sound levels. The narrator's voice volume changed several times, going up and down, and eventually became so quiet that I could barely hear her. Yet the other sounds remained at a steady volume, making them jarringly loud if you raised the volume so as to hear the voice.

This is a very nice story, but the sound effects were disturbing. It did not make me relaxed, but not much works for me, others may have success.

Very relaxing and also interesting

I was interested to hear where this would go, and I believe that I fell asleep before I finished it so good job!

Soothing

This is one of my go to stories to help me relax and sleep at night. Her voice is so calming and the story puts me in the right place for relaxing.

Not for sleep, not very relaxing

Seventeen-ish minutes into this relaxing experience you suddenly hear a ton of loud scraping and shuffling that will startle you.

too much loud noise

I liked the narration and the whisper talk, but the noises used were jarring. I can't fall asleep with jarring noises. I usually only play these clips when it's storming out and I want to cover the noise for my terrified dog, but the loud startling noises were almost as bad as the thunder. I didn't fall asleep until well after the story was complete.

Sleepy

I fell asleep with it, was hoping to hear more of them before I did but aye it did the job better than I thought.

Great ASMR

As an avid listener to ASMR in YT I was pleasantly surprised that Audible is adding these titles. Her voice was perfect. The special effects made it even more relaxing. If you already like ASMR you will definitely enjoy this. Don’t get scared by the bad reviews are they are from people new to ASMR and it takes a while to “get it”.

This just really relaxed to me.

Her voice is so soothing and calming and all the little various quiet sounds of drawers opening and closing and little pots and jars opening and being set down on surfaces brings back some unknown memory from my childhood that just sends me to sleep every time.

As on eep within a few minutes!

I honestly didn’t believe in ASMR but now I do. I have tried to listen to the whole story but have only made it to 5-10 mins. Lol. If you want something to help calm your mind and fall asleep, this is a great one to try. Sweet dreams!
