Troubling
As usual, this thing scared the willies out of me and my wife. It was exciting and troubling that there may be people that do such things. We haven't finished it yet, but I hope the guy gets his "come up ins"

Enjoyable despite predictability
I found this book to be entertaining despite the fact that I figured out "whodunnit" very early on. The mystery of why and how kept me going. And as always, Koontz wrote characters who drew me in. While not the best sample of his work, it was nevertheless enjoyable.

Not sure if he’s the best narrator for this type of story.
He did ok on narrating for some of the characters but for others it got a bit too silly and comedic; the voices used for narrating the females was appallingly bad. Took you right out of the tension of the story.

Book was Decent
Book was decent. It was a little disappointing after the build-up throughout the story. And it was a little predictable. The story was enjoyable, though. The narration was great.

I don't like child abuse or animal abuse stories
Other than child abuse which was the main storyline, I enjoyed the end but not the beginning and the middle. I hung in there to see if the end redeemed the subject matter. And it did...kinda

It was ok but dislike the narrator
What did you like best about The Door to December? What did you like least?
Fast paced
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
It did but koontz spent way too much time on every mundane detail.
What three words best describe George Guidall’s performance?
Did not like his performance. Does not enunciate his words and speaks a bit too fast and his narration of the woman made her always sound like she is frantic and he doesn't do women very well.
