Slow start. Worth it

This book has a very slow burn to it. I almost gave up on it at the beginning of act 3. Then it picked way up at the climax. Ended up being a great story about the heresy.

loooooong book but it was worth it and amazing. A full fledged mini account of demons.

narrator was great. great interpretation of the story the desperate ending was sublime indeed. ten out of ten.

a very good book protraying the iron hands and how their legion deals with things after the fall of Ferrus Manus.

Message

This book started out good. I understand why some gave it bad reviews because we didn’t get a conclusion or even an idea of what could come nextWhat was the damn message at the end? It could have been demon but who knows. Still was a good HH book though.

An alright story. Neither great, nor terrible.

A hum-drum story well performed. There are worse 40k novels, and there are better. Like an OK action movie on TNT on a Saturday afternoon.

A Small Story, But Memorable

Ultimately, this book doesn’t tie into the larger story very much. However, I think the book tells an interesting story: survivors of Istvaan try to establish a home base while fending off Daemons.

Good Iron Hands characterization, epic battles, explores the relationship between Astartes and mortals.

A prologue story

A prologue story for a future villain. You do get another glimpse of post-Istvaan Iron Hands.

Great Ironhands book

I thought this was a well written book. A lot of one liners and aphorisms stuck out to me. The story takes no partiality with anyone. The emperor protects!
